On Sunday, I had my uni friends (Billie & Charlyn) over for a lunch catch up. Good excuse to use our new dinnerware and for me to make a table runner and napkins. I did a simple table runner using one of my tougher brown fabric and the napkins I used a textured soft white cotton fabric. Table decorated with few scented colored candles with a small vase of herbs (mint, parsley, coriander).
I whipped up a fusion lunch menu:
- Starter - Flower shape garlic bread (tad sour, probably because i mixed too much garlic with the butter mixture)
- Appetizers - Home-made marinated chicken wings and spring rolls
- Main - Salmon on tabouli
- Dessert - Kahlua Affogato
